The Network adds new T & E staff

The Network is excited to announce the addition of two new Training and Exercise staff! To see the bios of our entire team, visit our Staff & Leadership page.

Nancy Blanford will fill the vacated role of Training and Exercise Coordinator for our region. Nancy joins us from the Washington Military Department Emergency Management Division (EMD), where she managed the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Staff Training and Exercise Program. Prior to EMD, Nancy supported a Department of Defense (DoD) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) preparedness program as a contract lead for program events in the Asia-Pacific region. Nancy holds a Master in Public Health from the University of Washington, and a BA from the College of William and Mary.

Siri McLean will fill the new role of Western Washington Training and Exercise Coordinator. Siri has spent the last 10 years teaching personal preparedness classes, managing EOCs and facilitating disaster exercises at Microsoft and the University of Washington. Siri is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), and holds a Master in Strategic Planning for Critical Infrastructure from the University of Washington.

Nancy and Siri both start at the Network on August 1.
